Viking harriers reign supreme at NEIC meet

Many things were in the athletes’ favor Thursday as the Decorah girls’ and boys’ track teams dominated the Charles City track at the Northeast Iowa Conference meet.
Combined with near perfect weather conditions, the Vikings snared both titles. The boys’ collected first with 194 points over Waverly-Shell Rock who came through with 137. For the girls, Decorah easily wrapped up the team title with 185 points with Crestwood finishing a distant second with 96.
