Lane Rolfs fashioned a 42 on the par-36 Silvercrest Golf Course to earn medalist honors. Decorah teammate Ethan Holthaus was the runner-up with a 44. Touring the course to card a 47 was Ben Bockman. Jackson Knoke and Gavin Stortz came through with 49s, while Brody Hanson carved out a 50.
The Decorah JV team tallied 188 for the night, led by Shlok Patel’s 43. Others on the course were Alex McGohan (48), Cale Donlon (48), Baylor Bohr (49), Jonathon Egan (49), Casey Brickley (58), Lincoln Robinson (63) and Brock Christensen (65).
Friday, May 14, the Vikings will start the postseason with sectional competition at Pin Oak Pub & Links in Manchester. Decorah will compete in the Northeast Iowa Conference tournament Monday, May 17, at Waverly.
