After picking up a big win over Caledonia earlier in the week, the Decorah boys’ golf team circled the Waverly Municipal Golf Course with the Go-Hawks of Waverly-Shell Rock Thursday. When the last ball fell into the cup it was the hosts coming out with the win 312 to 384.
Shooting a one-under par 69 for medalist honors was W-SR’s Hogan Hansen.
Ben Bockman led the Vikings with a 90. Carding 98s to fill the Decorah scorecard were Jackson Knock, Gavin Stortz and Lane Rolfs. Brody Hanson toured the course for a 99, while Baylor Bohr and Ethan Holthaus fired 102s on the day. Also, on the greens was Shlok Patel who carded a 125.
In JV action it was Alex McGohan (49), Cale Donlon (50), Jonathon Egan (52), Casey Brickley (55), Lincoln Robinson (59) and Brock Christensen (61) on the course.
