Warriors struggle to contain EB ground game

By Becky Walz,

It wasn’t the way the South Winn football team (2-6, 2-4) wanted to end the season, but with numerous injuries piling up as of late, the Warriors couldn’t stop East Buchanan (7-1, 5-1. Friday night the Warriors dropped the final game of the 2022 season 69-13 at home.
“This was a tough way to end the season. The entire coaching staff is very proud of our kids for hanging in there despite the adversity with all the injuries to their teammates,” said Coach Jason Ohrt. “We will miss our five senior players and one senior manager, who stuck it out for four years. They were so great to work with and we cannot thank them enough for their leadership with the younger players on this team.”
